A new creative hub will be launching in the heart of Walthamstow Village in January 2020. An exciting renovation project has converted disused garages into a shared studio space for creatives. The space will also be home to a bookbinding studio and a multipurpose space that will hold workshops, exhibitions and creative activities for the local community.
Situated in a conservation area, the striking facade of the building is made of deep green and teal glazed bricks. Each brick has been made meticulously by hand and fired in a traditional wood-fired kiln.
The unique facade of the building identifies with the craftsmanship and handmade nature of creative activities within the creative studios.
