A comprehensive introduction to leatherworking. As warm up exercise you will learn to cut leather using a strap cutter and make your own key ring or lanyard, which you can personalise with your initials. After this we move on to planning and cutting from template to make a leather case which can be used for glasses, pencils amongst other things. During this process you will learn to layout patterns, cut, saddle stitch and test a range of different fixings and burnish edges.
